Draw a bullfinch drawing for children with a pencil. Learn to draw a bullfinch correctly. We draw two bullfinches on a branch in winter step by step

In winter, birds acquire a certain instinct to escape from the raging frosts to warmer climes to the best resorts on the globe. And I completely understand them: you don’t have to pay for a ticket, documents are not checked at customs, and there you can quite easily enjoy cocktails, girls in bikinis, high waves and strange foreign food, which I never ate the last time. There are, of course, lovers of cold weather, but they go to the mountains and ski, snowboard and just go downhill. The rest of the inhabitants of the urban jungle can only be content with the melted swamp near the house and sunbathe in front of the TV, periodically feeding the same poor fellows in the animal world. For example bullfinches. And, so that you have something to relieve your boredom, now I’ll tell you how to draw a bullfinch with a pencil. The bullfinch is an integral element of the decoration of the most cruel and severe winter. If you see a bullfinch in summer, then this is a sign that after autumn there will be winter. Science does not know why these selfless birds proudly survive the cold season, while still cheerfully singing along and breeding.

The birds themselves do not put themselves within the framework of such a sad picture, and they do not fly to warmer climes purely out of laziness, because the fat ones are more reminiscent of the candidate for deputy from the sparrow party. Their bright coloring facilitates their prompt consumption by other hungry animals, which do not disdain anything in winter. People also don't mind snacking on these, as noted in Bear Grils's posts. They don't look bad as poultry either, because from the constant cold they have learned to scream very beautifully and melodiously and ask for help if they are suddenly covered in snow.

Where the bird lit up:

  • Not only is 2008 the year of the rat, but a certain world intergalactic union for the conservation of birds in Russia has also declared it the year of the bullfinch;
  • It belongs to the class of birds with the highest survival rate, together with pigeons and sparrows, despite the fact that all three survive the Russian winter quite calmly;
  • It is not strange that on the territory of Russia there is a settlement of any type with the name Snegiri, for it would not be Russia;
  • He is practically not afraid of people, but in vain, because the only thing more dangerous than any frost can be a person who is trying to get through them;

How wonderfully beautiful these birds are!

Neat beak, shiny black eye,
And from under the feathers the scarlet belly sticks out,
Like a beautiful little lantern.
Fragment of a poem by Batu I.

Indeed, what extraordinary birds bullfinches are, it’s a pleasure to see them on rowan branches!

So, first we need to outline the drawing of our bird.
1. Place the sheet vertically, the bullfinch will be located approximately in the middle of the sheet. Using light pencil movements, we outline the shape of a bird, a twig, and the approximate location of the berries.

2. We draw and specify the bird, draw a small beak, an eye, and legs. On the back of the bullfinch's head is a small crest. We put the bird on a branch. We will clarify the direction of the branches; we will not draw the bunches of rowan berries, but will leave them as blurry general masses.

3. We clean our picture with an eraser, leaving only barely visible outlines so that the pencil does not show through under the watercolor and our work is clean and fresh.

4. Cover the entire sheet, with the exception of the bullfinch, with clean water, and apply shades of blue, turquoise, and gray to the wet sheet. We take a lot of water so that the paint spreads and the colors merge with each other. In the place where the berries will be located, add a little red-brown.

5. To give our work a frosty freshness, we sprinkle the sheet with salt while the paint is still wet.

6. You need to wait a little and dry the background.
7. Let's start with the bullfinch, add a little orange paint to the chest and cheek, shades of blue, gray, blue-violet on the wing, darken the outer contour of the wing and under the wing a little.

8. Mix black with blue. Use the resulting color to darken the outline of the head, place emphasis on the wings, and paint over the tail. Add red-orange shades to the breast, darkening towards the edge.

9. On the wing we add the same gray-blue colors, but lighter, more transparent. We move from the contours inwards, blurring the sharp lines.

10. Add more saturated bluish shades to the wing.

11. Blur the wing, making a smooth transition between colors. We outline the main branch with pale brown paint.

12. Slightly darken the bottom of the branch. We supplement our branch with bunches of already dried berries, draw the lower branch a little lighter. Mix brown with blue, palely draw a few branches in the background.

13. Add bright colors! Make the branch under the bullfinch darker. We complement the rowan with red berries, paint over the eye, leaving a small area of white, creating a highlight. Paint the beak with brown and add warm brown shades to the lower part of the wing. We cover the breast with red-orange shades.

14. We also darken the wing, tail, and head. Use dark brown to draw thin legs. We make accents on the wings with white gouache.

15. After drying, the salt is carefully removed from the work. Our work is almost ready, all that remains is to create a winter mood! We put white gouache on the toothbrush, and, placing our thumb on the brush, with our index finger we begin to lift the pile and sprinkle snow on the bullfinch.

Our drawing is ready! Thank you for your attention!!!

Bullfinches fly in in winter, so first draw a beautiful, fairy-tale winter, then draw the branches where the birds themselves will fly and perch. Let them make you and your baby happy.

You will need:

A3 paper (2 sheets), glass (a little more than a sheet of paper), gouache, brushes, paint brush, a couple of potatoes, a dish, a jar of water, a damp cloth (preferably 2), a foam rubber stick, cotton swabs.

Place one sheet of paper on the floor. Cover it with glass. This will help the child decide on which part of the glass to smear the paint.

We wet the glass, drip gouache - white, blue, you can add another color (yellow or red). Using a brush, lightly mix the paints. Try to leave beautiful paint stains.

Quickly, before the paint dries, cover with a sheet of paper and press down. We lift the sheet and admire it.

We transfer the sheet to the table. Mix red and blue paint. Play catch-up with your child with brushes - draw tree branches

Dip the potatoes cut in half well into red paint, print them onto a sheet and leave them for now.

Use blue paint to paint the bullfinches' backs and tails. Black beak. If you remove the potatoes before this, the children get lost and start scratching all over the sheet, but the brush rests on the potatoes and everything works out.

Apply a brush with black paint and draw the paws.

You can add snowfall and the work is ready

Winter has come and nature pleases us with fluffy snow, high snowdrifts, and silvery frost on tree branches. At this time, bright red-breasted bullfinches, looking like living lanterns, fly to the cities from distant forests, which, without a doubt, are the best decoration of winter. Birds have long become a real symbol of the New Year holidays, which is why bullfinches are depicted on congratulatory telegrams, in store stained glass and window glass.

Do you want to decorate your home with a colorful picture of a bright, cheerful bird? Learn to draw a bullfinch with us.

How to draw a bullfinch on a branch

We will draw the bullfinch step by step, first with a simple pencil, and then we will paint the bird with paints.

  • In the center of the sheet, make a sketch of the body - a large oval, slightly tilted to the left. Place a smaller oval on top of it, like a snowman’s hat, for the head. To the right of the large ellipse, draw a flattened elongated circle - the future wing and divide it in half with a wavy line. Lower several feather rays from it down. Smoothly connect the head and the side of the wing.
  • Draw two triangles on the left side of the head: the long outer one, the short inner one.

  • Close the opposite vertices of the figures with a segment - you get a beak. Use ovals elongated vertically to highlight the cheeks and erase the rough lines.

  • Show a circle of your eyes, put a highlight on the pupil. Add an alder (or other) branch that the bullfinch holds onto with its claws.

  • We drew a male, so make the abdomen red, the wings blue-black, and the eyes dark brown.

How to draw a bullfinch for the New Year

Let's try to draw bullfinches on a spruce branch, creating a New Year's poster that will be suitable for decorating an office party or a children's party.

  • On a piece of paper, make a sketch of a fir branch, similar to the footprints of a bird's feet.

  • Sketch out the contours of the snow, in the middle of the composition, outline the figures of birds and the snow hummocks on which they sit with ovals, draw out the silhouettes of the cones.

  • Erase the extra lines. Draw the black cap and beak of the first bullfinch. Separate the head from the body with a bold line, make a plump abdomen. Define the wing, below it is the triangle of the tail.

  • Draw the remaining birds as the first, starting from the head and back, ending with the wings.

  • Color your creativity by making the bullfinches' breasts red and their heads, backs and tails black. Blend the snowball with blue, twigs and cones with brown. To make it more realistic, thicken the needles, highlighting them with a dark green pencil, apply purple shadows to the snow, and tint the cones with a dark burgundy color. Make a bright background, write a congratulation and the job is done.

How to draw a bullfinch using a circle

Drawing a bullfinch using two circles is not difficult and even a person ignorant of drawing can do it.

  • Draw a circle, add another one into it, but smaller - the circles should touch on the left side.
  • From the smaller circle, draw a segment that extends beyond the schematic sketch. From its end, lower a beam, the end of which is connected to the line of the circle - you get a tail.
  • Mark the tick-nose, round eye and wing, as in the diagram. Use a semicircular line to draw a cap on the head, connect it through the wing to the tail, then color the bird with paints or felt-tip pens.

All the bullfinches turned out to be funny and amusing, now all that’s left is to decorate the greeting card with a picture or transfer it with an applique on the window glass and you’re ready for the holiday.

V. Guys. Do you know what time of year it is? That's right, winter. Remember, in the fall we talked about migratory birds, about those birds that fly to warm countries for the winter. But there are birds that come to us in winter. Listen to a riddle about them:

Arrived for the winter
Birds that are clever in the cold
Jumping on trees and branches
In red-fiery vests.
We cannot help but recognize them -
We love the bird -

Children:Bullfinch.

Q. That’s right, this bird is a bullfinch. The bullfinch got its name because it flies to us along with the snow and lives all winter.

Bullfinches land on the branches of mountain ash, maple, and viburnum bushes, pick berries and peck seeds. The bullfinch is a beautiful, calm bird. Look carefully and remember what it looks like. The top of its head, wings and tail are black. And the chest, belly and cheeks are red. The bullfinch's beak is short, thick, and black.

Look at your leaves. Last time we drew bunches of rowan berries? Now bullfinches will fly to our rowan branches. In order to draw a bullfinch we need red paint. We carefully pick up paint with the tip of the brush, so as not to stain the piece of iron, and draw a red circle.

Then wash the brush and wipe it on a cloth. Then we take black paint onto the tip of the brush and paint the back of our bullfinch.

Then, we decide which way our bullfinch is looking, and draw a small beak and a tail on the other side.

All that remains is to draw the wings.

Now we wash our brush properly. Because you will need to take a different color of paint. Wipe with a cloth. Using white paint we draw an eye and a pattern on the wing. So we got a bullfinch.

Now guess the riddle:

He's busy all the time
He can't go in vain.
He goes and paints it white
Everything he sees along the way.

Children: Snow.

B. That's right, snow. On the branches, on the rowan bunches, in the air we will draw snow.

Now you can start drawing the bullfinch.

The outdoor game “Bullfinches” is played after the children have drawn the chest and back.

Look at the branches - clap hands on sides

Bullfinches in red T-shirts - tilt head to the sides

Fluffed the feathers - frequent shaking of hands

Basking in the sun - claps on the sides

They turn their heads and want to fly away - head turns

Shoo! Shoo! Let's fly away!

Behind the blizzard! Behind the blizzard! - children scatter around the group, flapping their arms like wings.

Summarizing:Well done boys! What beautiful bullfinches flew to your rowan branches!
