Vacations for 1. Vacations in quarters. Deviations from planned dates

Scenario for 1st grade "Celebration of the first school holidays"

Target: Uniting the team of children and parents. Development of students' creative abilities.

Teacher: Dear Guys! Dear guests! Today, for the first time in our class, we celebrate a holiday that, unfortunately, happens only once in a lifetime.
Here's a cozy room for the first time
He brought us together for the holiday.
On the occasion of the first school holidays.
Do you know what the word “vacation” means? This is a dog. Yes, yes, in Latin “canis” means dog. The ancient Romans called the brightest star in the constellation Canis Major - Sirius - vacation. Holiday Sirius appeared annually in the sky in July, at the height of summer according to our calendar. During the hottest time, pupils and students are excused from classes. In honor of the star, these days were called vacation days. Nowadays holidays are called not only summer holidays, but generally a break from studying. But for vacations to happen, there must be a school with lessons. Really, guys?

1 class. From year to year for six years in a row.
We went to kindergarten
But those days are gone.
Today we are students.

2 lessons September came and the lesson
The first bell called us all,
And knowledge will be revealed to us
A huge world where at the helm
Teachers! Teachers!
And there is no higher rank.

3 lessons I'm in a hurry, I'm rushing to school.
Hooray! I AM A SCHOOLBOY! I'm studying!
And here is my class,
My first class
I will study there!
I give you my word -
Out of me
You can become a scientist!

4 lessons. Wonderful days have come
We go to 1st grade
And a lot of interesting things
Let's find out for the first time.

5 lessons. We have important concerns
We are schoolchildren now
And we all have
Notebooks and briefcase.

Teacher: Now we will check what every first-grader should have in their briefcase. Guess the riddles.
1. In this narrow box you will find pencils, pens, feathers, paper clips, buttons - anything for your soul. (Pencil case)
2. If you perfect it, you can draw whatever you want!
Sun, sea, mountains, beach - what is it?... (Pencil)
3. Either I’m in a cage, then I’m in a line. Write on me - ka,
you can also draw. What am I?...(Notebook)
4. I carry a new house in my hand,
The house door is locked.
The residents here are made of paper
All terribly important. (Briefcase)

6 lessons Here at school they teach us to read,
Write, and sing, and draw,
We are learning the roles.
Board, and chalk, and pencil,
And watercolors and gouache
Corridor duty.
Teacher: Yes, of course, the children have new worries, new responsibilities, first tasks and first problems, which, of course, the closest people help them cope with: mothers, fathers and grandmothers.

re-enactment

Boy: Today is my first time
I'm heading to first class.
I will try my best
It's best to be a student.
Mom and dad told me
Mom: How to behave at your desk:
For example, you can't lie down
A desk is not a bed.
Boy: I intend to sit up straight
As my mother taught me.
I want to ask, say,
You just need to raise your hand.
Mom: And you can’t chat with anyone,

So as not to disrupt lessons.
Boy: Thirty-five minute lesson,
I wish I could hold out the whole time!
Mom: Don't yawn, don't relax.
You have to try to be the best.
Boy: I will obey my mother,
With her I will definitely be the first.

7 classes. Oh, and a difficult task -
Clean, correct writing!
The schoolboy has a desire
Tell you about it!

8 lessons We are now students.
We have no time for partying.
They put hooks on the house
First task!
Here are my mother and I above the table
We lead down, we lead, we lead -
Let's round it off smoothly!

9 classes. But nasty hooks
With sharp noses
From under my hand
They crawl out on their own!
We don't watch TV
We don't read fairy tales
We sit and sit for three hours,
Smoothly round off.

11 school We wrote in a row
Many, many lines.
Just to write
Small hook.
Evening. Late. Let's go to bed,
We immediately fall asleep.
And in a dream we lead, we lead,
Smoothly round off.
Game "Collect words"
(The class is divided into 5 teams, each with 5 players. Participants receive an envelope containing 5 cards with letters.
Task: collect the word fastest, line up and read it in chorus.
BOOK SCHOOL AUTUMN DESK LESSONS)

Teacher: Why did the word AUTUMN appear among the words on the school theme? (school time starts in the fall)
The weather is somewhat gloomy.
The clouds are approaching.
It suddenly got colder.
It's starting to rain.
SONG ___________________________________________________________________

Teacher: Autumn is a glorious time!
Children love autumn.
Plums, pears, grapes -
Everything is ripe for the guys.
Autumn is rich in the harvest of vegetables and fruits. But in our class there is also a crop of birthday people.
The following were born in September: Gleb Dyachenko, Sofia Ravilova, Anastasia Akulova, Yulia Dolganova, Anna Pikuleva.
Guzel Chugalaeva’s birthday is in October.
In November - at Galeva Zlata.

For all birthday people, the game "Wishers". You need to say “yes-yes-yes” or “no-no-no.”
Happy birthday! -Yes Yes Yes!
And, of course, we wish you! Yes Yes Yes!
Be beautiful, kind, sweet! Yes Yes Yes!
Both loud and pugnacious! No no no!
So that mommy loves! -Yes Yes Yes!
Use a strap to hit her more often! No no no1
To give gifts! Yes Yes Yes!
And she fed me sweets! Yes Yes Yes!

Now let's dance. Dance with balloons. Birthday boys dance together with their mothers. Between them is a balloon, which they try to hold while dancing. You can hold it with your shoulders, heads, stomachs, but not with your hands. Whoever lost the ball sits down.
Applause for the best dancing couple.

Teacher: Did you have fun dancing? Why? (Mom was nearby). There is a special day in November, which is celebrated on the last Sunday of November. It's Mother's Day, which is just around the corner.
12 lessons I want to tell my mom,
That there is no kinder person in the world:
And he will caress, and feed, and dress -
No one in the world can replace her!

13th lesson. You are my best friend, dear,
I'm not afraid of rain or blizzards with you,
And from the bottom of my heart, Mommy, I tell you,
About how much I love you!

Teacher: Let’s give the mothers a song that we performed at the “Battle of the Choirs” competition.
SONG ____________________________________________________

Teacher: Your parents have more worries.
School caused a lot of trouble.
They have a good useful instruction,
And our class will try harder!

Parting words for parents

1 parent:
The desired hour has come
You are enrolled in 1st grade
You, my friend, listen to us
We will give you an order.

2nd parent:
Train yourself to order
Don't play hide and seek with things
Treasure every thing.

3rd parent:
Dress neatly
To make it pleasant to watch
Don't giggle in class
Don't move the chair back and forth.

4th parent:
Don't be teasing, don't be arrogant
Try to help everyone at school
Don't frown in vain, be bolder
And you will find friends.

5 parent:
You should know perfectly well
Not studying is not decent
You master the program
Don't upset mom.

6th parent:
You are well-mannered, be polite
Don't forget to say hello.

7th parent:
To always be healthy
Eat porridge, kefir and pilaf
Listen to mom, dad, everyone
And teachers - more than anyone.

8 parent:
Tell everyone about the school
Cherish the honor of the school
Learn to write, learn to count
To get a grade of five.

Teacher: And now for everyone a song _____________________________________
Our holiday has come to an end. We invite everyone to tea.

The first year at school is the most exciting and difficult time for the entire family of a first-grader. The child is faced with a number of tasks that require the application of intellectual, physical and emotional forces on his part. At the same time, for parents this period becomes an equally difficult probationary period. In order for children to successfully adapt to learning, the school’s task is to correctly distribute the load, alternating them with proper rest.

In addition to the generally mandatory requirements of SanPiN for the organization of an elementary school, the Ministry of Education annually issues an order indicating the total duration of the school year and rest time. In addition, to minimize overload and stress, additional holidays are provided for first-graders. When will first-graders have holidays in 2018-2019?

Junior school holidays

According to the law, in a classic four-semester education, it is stipulated that in the period from September 1 to May 28, schoolchildren are allocated at least 30 days for vacation. The final decision regarding the beginning and end of vacation weeks belongs to the school administration. All dates and duration in weeks are written in the annual schedule.

For Russian schools of all types, certain educational provisions are also valid, according to which:

  • the date cannot be shifted by more than 2 weeks;
  • students' rest should begin on Monday;
  • between quarters - at least 7 days off;
  • the summer break must be at least 2 months;
  • The school year cannot begin or end on Sunday.

It should also be taken into account that the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation makes adjustments several months before the start of the school year, so it will be possible to find out the exact dates of holidays for first-graders in 2018-2019 no earlier than the spring of the coming year. Although, based on the experience of previous years, it is already possible to put together an indicative schedule.

Holidays in a regular school

Educational institutions that divide the year into 4 quarters set a break after each. Moreover, in winter it usually lasts 2 weeks, and in summer – 3 months.

Autumn vacation

The first holidays for first-graders in 2018-2019 should take place in the last week of October and the first of November. Everyone will have one additional day off due to an important public holiday - National Unity Day, which is celebrated on Sunday, November 4. According to the draft on postponing holidays, it will be moved to Monday. As a result, primary schools will be able to rest from October 29 to November 6.

Plans for the New Year's weekend are not yet known, but the timing may differ from the usual 10 days of rest.

The winter vacation

New Year's holidays for first-graders in 2018-2019 will take place almost simultaneously with adults, so you can all go on a trip together or spend time at home with your family. They usually last 2 weeks, that is, they should start on Wednesday 12/26/18 and last until 01/08/19 inclusive. But a proposal is already being considered to start weekends for junior grades at 24, so the last day of school could already be December 21. Due to the fact that the New Year and especially Christmas holidays fall on the winter weekend, which must be postponed, then, presumably, all schoolchildren will return to school only on Wednesday, January 9.

Additional rest for first-graders

For first-graders who are just beginning to adapt to school life, the law provides for additional respite. Most likely, this will be the last week of February - the beginning of March. And although the dates 02/25/19-03/03/19 are tentative, 02/22/19 may well be the last school day for 1st grade. This week should help young schoolchildren regain their strength.

Spring break

After the most difficult and long third quarter, there is a long-awaited spring break. High school students will need to focus on preparing for exams, but for first-graders and their parents, this is a great opportunity to learn something interesting and new. Based on the experience of past years, the spring break will most likely take place from March 25 to March 31, 2019.

Summer holidays

This is the most long-awaited respite, which, as a rule, lasts at least 3 months. But according to the law, the minimum break between academic years can be 2 months. Due to the possibility of force majeure, the duration of summer vacation remains at the discretion of the school administration. If for a number of valid reasons the school was closed, then students study longer. Although in practice this does not happen so often. In 2019, first-graders, as usual, will be the first to go on vacation and, most likely, already on the 20th of May they will be able to finish their first year of learning the unknown and new.

According to the Law “On Education of the Russian Federation”, each school institution independently chooses a quarter or trimester education system.

Trimester holidays

For schools with a relatively new teaching method for Russia, where a trimester lasts 11 weeks, with seven-day breaks repeated cyclically every 5 weeks of school. Although the vacation schedule differs from schools with a traditional educational system, New Year's and summer holidays have the same duration.

In 2018-2019, the holidays for first-graders of educational institutions that have chosen modular training will take place between trimesters as follows:

  • I – October 8-14;
  • II – November 19-25;
  • III - from December 29 to January 9 (New Year holidays)

  • IV - February 18-24;
  • V - April 8-14;
  • VI - summer break will begin from the end of May - June 1 to August 31.

This educational method attracts many parents, as it makes it possible to make plans in advance. At the same time, all conditions are created for children to take a break from their intense schedule and return to their studies with a new impulse.

Of course, all vacation dates for first graders in 2018-2019. are speculative and based directly on the calculation of the total duration of the academic year and planned weekend dates, so they may be subject to minor adjustments by Knowledge Day.

Deviations from planned dates

The holiday schedule may be changed for a number of reasons. Thus, in winter, when the street temperature is below 25°C, classes for 1st grade are not held. Although if the temperature is higher, but the wind speed is stronger, which intensifies the frost, the school administration has the right to declare a weekend. The situation will be similar if the air temperature in the classrooms drops below 18°C.

During peak incidence periods, unscheduled days off may also be announced. This usually happens during an epidemic of influenza and acute viral infections. If more than 30% of schoolchildren are sick, the school must be closed for quarantine.

For schoolchildren, the holidays are a long-awaited time of rest. Finally, you don't have to get up at 7 am, go to school and do homework. Already from the first of September, many students are counting the remaining days before the holidays in the hope of spending them fun and interesting. Therefore, all schoolchildren are looking forward to the holidays. Teachers and parents of students will also not refuse to take a break from the educational process. But in order to properly plan your vacation, you need to know the school holiday schedule for the 2018–2019 school year.

Why are school holidays needed?

Studying at school is intense intellectual work during the seven to eight hours that a student spends in an educational institution. For some children, close communication with classmates and teachers is a huge psychological burden. The reason for this is the following: parents sometimes themselves prepare their child for school and do not send him to kindergarten. Such children experience a number of difficulties:

  • difficult to get along with classmates;
  • cannot build relationships with teachers;
  • They are stressed by being in an unfamiliar place for a long time.

Therefore, the educational process for such children is a considerable stress, which vacations are designed to relieve, helping to solve a number of important issues:

  • Rest the child’s body from psychological stress.
  • Restoring your daily routine with proper sleep.
  • Organization of the correct fractional diet.

An oversaturation of information and communication requires the opportunity for a child to be alone, read, watch his favorite films or TV shows - to switch only to himself and his interests.

Quarters or trimesters?

The school administration can vary the start and end dates of the holidays at its discretion, guided by the curriculum. Some schools, for example, in Moscow, study not in quarters, but according to a modern modular system that provides training in trimesters. For them, the Department of Education provides additional guidance regarding the holiday schedule.

Thus, the school itself decides how to study - in quarters or trimesters - and, in accordance with this, sets holidays for students.

If the school is on a trimester form of education, then the academic year is divided into three trimesters, each of which lasts from 10 to 12 weeks.

If the school schedule provides for studying in quarters, then this involves four quarters, different in duration:

  • 1st quarter – 8 weeks.
  • 2nd quarter – 8 weeks.
  • 3rd quarter – 10 weeks (for first grades); 11 weeks (for grades 2–11).
  • 4th quarter – 8 weeks (for grades 1–4, 9 and 11); 9 weeks (for grades 5–8, 10).

Thus, within these deadlines, the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation recommends holding school holidays in the 2018–2019 academic year, and many principals of Russian secondary schools will adhere to it.

Holidays in 2018–2019 according to the trimester system

In the trimester education system, there are only six study periods (each trimester is divided into two parts) and six rest periods - vacations. The duration of each trimester is five to six weeks, the duration of the holidays is a week. The exception is the three-month summer holidays.

Approximate vacation dates for the modular (trimester) education system:

  • October 8–14.
  • November 19–25.
  • December 29, 2018–January 8, 2019
  • February 18–24.
  • April 8–14.
  • June 1–August 31.

The deadline for completing the school year is May 31, 2019 for grades 1–8, 10; for students in grades 9 and 11, the school year ends in accordance with the GIA exam schedule and the school curriculum.

We study in quarters. When are the holidays in 2018–2019?

Every day of the holidays is amazing and unique. The whole question is to organize children’s leisure time in an interesting, entertaining, creative way, to captivate them with useful practical activities.

School holiday table (by quarters)

Holidays Dates
Autumn
Winter 26.12.2018–9.01.2019
Spring
Summer 1.06.2019–31.08.2019

For first grades, additional days are provided during the longest third quarter from approximately 02/11/2019 to 02/17/2019.

But LDPR leader Vladimir Zhirinovsky called for extending the summer and moving the start of the school year to October 1:

Our country is so huge that it is impossible to create a unified school holiday calendar. Each area has certain situations that affect the length of school days. These include:

  • quarantine;
  • very coldy;
  • other weather conditions (floods, squally winds, etc.).

If such force majeure periods take 2–3 days, then many schoolchildren and teachers are able to “catch up” with the program. But if such “absences” accumulate for a week or more, then the school administration has the right to independently change the vacation calendar or transfer some days off to the category of school days.

The vacation schedule at schools, universities and secondary vocational education institutions in Moscow is approved individually for each educational institution by its director, rector or other decision-maker. In practice, the vacation schedule rarely differs from the recommendations of a higher authority.

Russian schools live according to two academic “calendars”: quarters and trimesters. Depending on this, and also based on the recommendations of the Ministry of Education, educational institutions themselves determine the dates of the holidays. In general, it is beneficial for the school to adhere to the generally established framework, since general holidays mean greater opportunities for organizing quality children's leisure time: performances, excursions, concerts, etc.

Holidays in schools with a quarterly education system

Those who study in quarters have holidays four times a year - autumn, winter, spring and summer.

– 2019 academic year

Of these, the dates of the autumn holidays at the end of October and the beginning of November are less stable: their end date depends on National Unity Day, which is celebrated on November 4. For example, the autumn holidays of 2018 will not last traditionally from Monday to Sunday, but will last a day longer due to the postponement of the day off. That is from October 27 to November 5.

New Year holidays 2018–2019 academic year

New Year holidays, as a rule, begin in the last week of December and end on the 10th of January. Schoolchildren go to school on Monday. Winter holidays in the 2018/2019 academic year will continue from December 30 to January 8. First-graders will have additional holidays in winter* – from 16 to 25 February.

Spring break 2019 school year

The situation with holidays in the spring is much simpler - the dates do not depend on holidays. Spring break falls in the last week of March and the first week of April. In 2019, schoolchildren will have a rest from March 23 to March 31.

Summer holidays 2019 academic year

Summer holidays will begin as usual - on the last Monday of May. In 2019 it falls on the 27th. Thus, from May 27 to September 1 Schoolchildren are waiting for three whole happy months free from lessons.

* For students of first grades and classes of correctional and developmental education.

In addition to scheduled holidays, school classes may be canceled for the following reasons:

Any work must be replaced by a break, so several weeks of quiet time are provided for pupils and students in the 2016-2017 academic year. Everyone, without exception, loves holidays. Especially the youngest schoolchildren are looking forward to their first holidays.

This is their first legal vacation, which the kids have earned through exemplary studies within the school walls. Not only children, but also parents are concerned about the issue of school holidays. Knowing the exact schedule of your child’s fall, winter, spring and summer vacations will help you better plan your family vacation, in accordance with the choice of place and time for vacation.

Moms and dads, whose children went to school for the first time in the 2016-2017 school year, already from the first of September want to know when and what they will be like holidays for first graders in 2017. According to the established tradition of the last few years, first-grade students are given additional rest in the winter. You will learn in what dates it will be and how long it will last from our article.

Such different holidays

Not all schools have the same holiday times. The Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation gives recommendations regarding the start and end dates of school holidays, however, the school administration, headed by the school principal, can independently set the holiday dates for its school curriculum.

If you follow the recommendations of the Ministry of Education of our country, rest from school begins at the beginning of the week, that is, on Monday. Sometimes this nuance is not taken into account at all and the start of the holidays can be postponed, for example, to Wednesday.

Often, autumn holidays begin in the last week of October, winter holidays begin in the last week of December, spring holidays begin in the last week of March, and summer holidays take three months of hot summer.

The main difference in the time frame is the choice of teaching method by the school administration. As you know, there are two educational systems for Russian schools:

  1. By quarters;
  2. By trimester.

If the school has chosen a quarterly education system, then in the 2016-2017 academic year the following vacation schedule will be established:

  • : last week of October – first week of November (9 days);
  • : last days of December and ten days of January (two weeks of New Year holidays);
  • additional winter holidays for first grades and for students in special classes (7 days);
  • : end of March (7 days);
  • : three months in summer.

If the school administration chooses a trimester method of education, then the vacation schedule for the 2016-2017 school year will differ significantly from the vacation schedule of a school that studies in quarters: children will study for five weeks and then rest for a week. This is how training will take place throughout the entire nine academic months, with the only exception being the winter holidays, which will last two weeks for absolutely all schoolchildren in Russia.

Vacation schedule for first-graders for the 2016-2017 school year

For first-graders, a break from school is especially important, because this is their first acquaintance with school life. Plus, given the increased workload compared to kindergarten, it becomes clear that kids need vacations that are somewhat different from vacations for older children.

So, for first-graders, the main school holidays remain the same as for the rest, but they still go on vacation a little earlier.

In addition, additional holidays have been established for first-grade students (as well as for correction classes), implying one week of winter holidays in addition to those that children are entitled to according to the main vacation schedule. This is a kind of bonus in the third, considered the longest and most difficult, quarter of the academic year. And since children at this tender age are still extremely tired from mental and emotional stress, it is better to give them the opportunity to rest for another week. Most often these holidays begin at the end of February and do not last more than a week.

Vacation schedule for 2016-2017 by quarter for first-graders:

  • autumn holidays: from October 31, 2016 to November 6, 2016;
  • additional winter holidays: from February 21, 2017 to February 28, 2017;
  • spring break: from March 27, 2017 to April 2, 2017;

Vacation schedule for 2016-2017 by trimester for first-graders:

  • autumn vacation:
  1. from October 6, 2016 to October 12, 2016,
  2. from November 17, 2016 to November 24, 2016;
  • winter holidays: from December 26, 2016 to January 10, 2017;
  • additional winter holidays: from February 15, 2017 to February 22, 2017;
  • spring break: from April 5, 2017 to April 11, 2017;
  • summer holidays: from May 26, 2017 to August 31, 2017.
